When this NYC couple contacted us, we were elated. Their family has worked with the amazingly talented Mixed Greens Events, based in NYC and whom we always love working with, in the past and we were trilled to have them choose us to be their photographers. We were even more thrilled that their wedding would be at The Glacier Club in Durango, Colorado. It is where we are based, so we were excited to be in our home town to document their wedding weekend. The bride and groom reside in NYC, but their family has a home in Durango, so what a perfect destination wedding. They had their rehearsal dinner at Durango Mountain Resort where it sprinkled a little, but the toasts made up for all the rain. As for the wedding, there was a sweet elegance to their wedding. They took a non-traditional time to have their dinner in a separate room to make time to call their grandmothers…okay how sweet is that…then they mingled as their guests ate so they could make time to talk with all of them. What a great way to talk with everyone and make them all feel so special. This couple is so classy and elegant and all the details were just that. We love this couple and their families. It was a beautiful wedding in the Colorado Mountains and we love being able to share the wedding with you. Here’s a little piece of their wedding memories in photographs.
