Some couples design their wedding around the landscape, while others choose to create a vision that encapsulates a collaborative vision for the day. Jessica and Chris waited all day to see the ballroom at the Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch designed by an amazing team of people from DesignWorks and Frosted Pink Weddings. The result was part fairytale, part elegance and all amazing. You’ll see that vision later, but until then I like this photo as a glimpse into the celebration and they never stopped smiling after walking through the doors into this unbelievable setting…stay tuned to see what they saw.

There are so many images from this wedding weekend to choose from that we can’t wait to showcase them all as there were three days of parties, from the rehearsal dinner, welcome party and the wedding day. For this single image, I wanted to select one that showed that even though there were around 300 guests, that the surrounding Colorado mountains that are so grand, they made it feel so intimate at the same time. This was a very fun and elegant crowd. Jessica, the most stunning bride, was a showstopper in her Oscar de la Renta gown. Kelly Karli, of Frosted Pink Weddings, and her team made the weekend just perfect and we just loved documenting all the love and fun throughout Jessica and Chris’s beautiful Colorado weekend and also their Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch wedding in Beaver Creek. We seriously cannot wait to show the entire wedding here…soon.
