めだたない色合いの布が、紬の白い色に助けられて、それぞれの柄の良さが引き立ちます。
◆今では手にはいらない古い布を使っています。
古い布には新しい布にはない、時を経た優しさがにじみ出ています。使い込まれた独特の優しい色合いが作品にとけ込んでくれたらと願いつつ針をはこびました。

The delicate color scheme of the fabric is complemented by the white color of the silk, highlighting the beauty of each pattern.
◆ I use old cloth that is no longer needed today.
The old cloth has a gentleness that cannot be found in new cloth, which is evident in the gentle color that has been well-used. I hoped that the unique, gentle color that has been passed down through the years would permeate the work as I sewed. The quilted edging took me three years to complete, stitch by stitch.
I used old Japanese cloth that was given to me by a friends mother as a cherished memory. 50 years ago, a thief broke into the workshop and stole the main cloth, leaving only scraps. T
